Some filtration processes, such as those involving corrosive fluids (organic solvents, acids) or oils, alkalis and micro-organisms cannot be performed by a standard filtration cartridge alone. In these cases, a filter intended for such fluids must first be used. Pentek’s BP, BPHE, and BN series filter bags are meant for just these kinds of applications.
