Vince Paglino of FilterPure Systems Wins Voodoo Chef Chili Cook Off !

Bragging rights were up for grabs on Saturday as Just Grillin and the VooDoo Krewe hosted the Tampa Bay battle of Chili concoctions in Carrollwood. FilterPures’ own Vince Paglino won the Judges first place vote for his Meat and Bean Chili and his Butternut Squash Chili won the fan favorite category! Congratulations Vince on your first and second place wins and congratulations to Just Grillin and the VooDoo Chef Foundation as all proceeds from the event went to support the Food Community in the Tampa Bay area including but not limited to Chefs, Cooks, Foodies, Students, Restaurants, Entrepreneurs, and schools in support of the Foodservice/Hospitality Industry.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Filter Pure Systems!

Today March 17th, 2017,  approximately 56.1% of Americans plan to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day according to Wallet Hub. What originally began as a religious holiday has grown to be a day of celebrating Irish culture, dancing, parades, a lot of green and the luck of the Irish. While many of us will hit the pubs and bars to enjoy the very best in green beverages, restaurants are making sure that they are ready for the big day too. Last year over 126 million people in the U.S. celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and average spending was $37 per person. That would make the total spent last year more than $4.6 billion dollars. That’s BILLION with a B and this year the expectation is for $5.3 billion and $38 per person.
